Potential Market Survey
We created this survey on Google Forms and sent it out to our friends, family and other members of our community. The responses we got were very diverse and we got many answers from people all over the DelMarVa region.

Problem Statement
44% of Americans who reportedly had their phone's stolen in 2014 had accidentally left their phones in a public place according to businessinsider.com. According to our survey 33.2% of the 258 people who answered said that they would like to have a way to keep their valuables safe in their phone. Seeing that phone theft is a big problem in the U.S and almost everyone has a smart phone, we are going to design a phone case that will keep your valuables safe such as your credit card or cash if you choose to put them behind your phone.
Summary
During Part A of our Capstone project, we as a group needed to brainstorm problems that were occurring in our daily lives that there was no solution for. After coming up with 6 different problems, we created a survey on Google Forms and asked people in our community to vote for which problem they were also having to see what problem we should solve. We also asked other questions to get a better idea of what kind of people voted by asking their age and where they lived. Once the survey was completed and we found what was the biggest problem we created our problem statement and found our justification for the problem.
